Getting Started

Welcome to the family! We're so excited to have you here. We've put together an easy how to, to help you get started on your road to success!

SyncLogic

  • You will need to download the SyncLogic app, should you choose to sell through Shopify. To do so got Shopify admin-->apps-->visit Shopify app store and then search SyncLogic.
  • Install app and modify your settings. Click the cogwheel in the upper right hand corner next to FAQ.
    • Turn off price sync (When the products import, you will have the wholesale price attached, you will need to change that to YOUR sell price. By turning off the sync, YOUR prices will not be overridden by the wholesale price when we do updates).
    • Turn off Online Store Visibility Sync. (This will import all new products as hidden, so you have time to make your price adjustments and any other adjustments you want to make to the product)
    • Do not turn off any other syncing until later in the process! 

  • Now you will want to connect to our store via the email you received with your invitation.

You will have some options once you initiate the sync. These are what you want to select:

  • When setting up your connection please make sure you follow these steps when setting up the connection.
    • Enter your connection code 
    • Click "match product with handle on accepted connection" under matching strategy
    • Click "create New products when one is not found"
    • Click "unpublish product" under unlink behavior
    • Click on "field transformations" --- click the hyperlink that says optional to access
      • Go to the Field Mappings Section and click BOTH boxes. 
    • Acknowledge 
    • Connect
    The syncing process can take up to 30 minutes initially, so initial the sync and take some time for you. We all need a little down time, right?

Once the sync has completed, you may want to adjust some more settings.

  • If you want to take your own pictures, disable Images. This will make it so that your own gorgeous photos are not overridden by our stock images as updates happen. (*Note, any future products will sync with NO photo, so you can either upload your own, or copy the stock image from BoutiqueSimplified.com)
  • If you would like to edit the descriptions, disable descriptions. You may want to do this if you are taking your own pictures and want to note the models size. (*Note, any future products will sync without a description, so you will need to write your own, or copy and paste from BoutiqueSimplified.com)
  • If you would like to not show compare to price (our suggested retail), you can turn this off too. I only suggest keeping it on because it helps you to easily adjust your price when you bulk edit in a later step

Updating and Editing New Products on Initial Sync

  • On the initial sync, got to Shopify Admin---> Products and you can sort by vendor (Boutique Simplified) to find all of our products. 
  • Click on the check box on the left of the product that you are going to want sell (you can check a few, or all) and then click edit products

  • From here you will be able to mass edit all of our products and adjust it to YOUR sell price.  Once this is done, hit SAVE and go back to the previous page.
  • Checkbox those same items and under the "actions" button, you can choose to publish the items you just updated. 

Updating and Editing New Products on an Ongoing Basis

  • On every Wednesday, there will be NEW product releases! Yay!! These products will automatically load to your store. Now, if you followed the steps above all these products will be hidden and waiting for you to update and launch to your boutique. 
  • To find these new products (they will be loaded for you by 11am PST, unless otherwise communicated) you will do a tag search for the date (IE. 09-01-19)
  • From here you will be able to mass edit all of our products and adjust it to YOUR sell price. Once this is done, hit SAVE and go back to the previous page.
  • Checkbox those same items and under the "actions" button, you can choose to publish the items you just updated. 

Processing Your Orders for the Basic Plan

As you receive orders, we will NOT know about them until you place your order with us. As everything is limited, this is extremely time sensitive! We cannot stress this enough. When you receive an order, make sure to place it with us ASAP. Do NOT wait 24-48 hours to do so. Here are some pro tips to help you manage your business on the go.

  • Download the Shopify app. You will get REAL TIME notification of your orders. Plus it makes a really cool Cha-Ching sound when those orders are coming. 
  • Have our website saved as an app on your phone. 
Some important things to remember when placing your order.
  • Make sure you input the correct name and address that the package is going to. 
  • Do NOT input your customers email address. I know it seems like it would be easier for them to get shipping notifications from us, but they will ALSO get a purchase receipt with YOUR wholesale prices. So always use YOUR email. 
    • You can always copy and paste the tracking your receive from us into your customers order so they can receive those shipping updates. 
  • Make sure to include YOUR boutique name the bill to portion of your orders. That way we will be able to include your personalized Thank You card with your order.
